This was my class for my 20 hour Little Flower's Kids yoga teacher training. At first I thought 20 hours was so many hours for two days.... Then I got there. The time flew by! The weekend was beyond my dreams. It wasn't just about learning poses to teach to kids. It was about understanding children..their backgrounds, emotions, struggles and what gives them joy. Sure we learned how to put together a class, but it was so much more than that. Through yoga and mindfulness children develop focus and concentration, feel strong and confident through movement and learn how to nurture themselves through relaxation. I left there confident to teach safe, effective and fun classes!
