My daily practice includes yoga, reiki self-healing, meditation and a healthy vegetarian diet and exercise. I continue my education in yoga and other healing modalities not only to strengthen my own practice but also to bring healing, joy, strength and light to others.

My journey into a balanced life began seventeen years ago when I left my corporate job as a CPA after ten years. I was stressed and depressed with no idea of what I wanted to do in the future except spend quality time with my husband and three young children. A friend suggested I try yoga to destress. To be honest, I thought yoga was not for me. I was a runner and weight lifter and saw no reason to add yoga. I gave it a try and it changed my life. The first time on the mat I fell in love with the practice. With time I found peace of mind, a zest for life and appreciation of my mind and for what my physical body can do for me.

After several months on the mat, and contemplating what I should do with my life for a career, I had a revelation. I wanted to share the gifts that I was given in my yoga practice with others. I became a certified yoga instructor and since then have gone on and received my Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga certification, Seniors Yoga Certification, Restorative Yoga Certification and Kids Yoga Certification.

For me the most significant aspect of my spiritual journey is my daily meditation practice. Mindfulness meditation is very simple. Pay attention to your breath and when your mind wanders, return. By following these simple steps, you get to know yourself up close and personal. I teach mindfulness meditation and other types of meditation to help one go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature-peace, happiness and bliss.

I always had a fascination with gems, stones and different healing modalities. I loved the energy flow I was able to offer during restorative yoga classes and final relaxation (savasana) in my yoga classes. One day a private student told me about reiki healing. I researched reiki and went for a few sessions and was dramatically changed by the energy flow in my body. I was relaxed and restored. Eventually I went through training and became a Reiki Master.

My next journey began with taking sound healing classes using crystal and Tibetan singing bowl, gongs and chimes. There is something otherworldly in the melodies created by these beautiful instruments. I became certified in Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound and Vibrational Therapy. The gentle, soothing tones of singing bowls open the flow of energy by touching every part of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.
